Satellite

(1975)

Bonestell is often referred to as "a man with a vision beyond his time". This image of a satellite approaching an asteroid was created when traditional satellites used by NASA and the USSR were still in their rudimentary stages and resemble nothing like to their modern age counterparts. However Bonestell's design of a satellite would actually resemble certain structures of satellites that are used in the modern age. Many believe that his works would inspire and give way to new ideas of astrospace devices and helped pave way to a vision of the future in space technology that others could not see.
